Acrylic formicariums are best suited for very small species of ants, as CNC technology can be used to work very precisely and therefore there are hardly any gaps or breakout possibilities.

For small, medium or large ant species, we recommend larger formicariums with at least a tank size of 20x20cm.

The sizes of the Starter kits (S, M, L) do not refer to the external dimensions, but to the inner distance between the insides of the ant farm included or the size of the holes to connect the farms and arenas (adapted to the size of different ant species).
