Our substrate for formicaria
Here you will find the right substrate for your formicarium. This should be selected according to the needs of the species of ant you want to keep.
We have everything you need from sand-loam mixtures to granulates and humus to create a natural habitat for your ants. A mixture of sand-loam and a granulate is ideally suited to prevent waterlogging in nests. Simply fill in a layer of granulate in the lower area and then put in the sand as the upper layer.
