Description:
Cerapachys is a genus which belongs to the so-called " army ants". They can often be seen in long columns raiding towards other ant nests. There they collect ant-larvae and bring them back to their own nest. All inhabitants of the colony are feeding on these larvaes. They are not very good in climbing on smooth surfaces.
